  U.S.S. Farragut    
  The Farragut was Lt. James T. Kirk's first assignment after leaving Starfleet Academy. In 2257, 200 members of the Farragut crew, including Captain Garrovick, were killed by the dikironium cloud creature discovered at planet Tycho IV. TOS Obsession.

Named after the American naval officer David Glasgow Farragut, who commanded Union ships during the American Civil War, famous for his rallying cry "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!". Name from dialogue. According to the Starfleet Technical Manual, the Farragut is a Constitution-class vessel with the registry number NCC-1702.

 

 

  U.S.S. Farragut NCC-60597

Nebula-class

 
  The Farragut was one of three starships that transported the crew of the Enterprise-D from Veridian III after the Enterprise-D saucer section crash-landed there in 2371. Star Trek: Generations. The Farragut was destroyed by Klingon forces in 2373 near the Lembatta cluster. The Farragut had been assigned to evacuate Federation colonists on Ajilon Prime during the Klingon offensive. DS9 Nor the Battle to the Strong.

  U.S.S. Farragut    
  Sarina Douglas and her friends, Patrick, Jack, and Lauren travelled aboard the Farragut under false pretences to station DS9 in early 2375. DS9 Chrysalis.

Name from dialogue. The ST Encyclopedia speculates that the Farragut is an Excelsior-class vessel.

 

 

  U.S.S. Fearless NCC-14598

Excelsior-class

 
  Starfleet propulsion specialist Kosinski performed a successful series of experimental engine software upgrades on the Fearless in 2364. The Fearless later transported Kosinski and his assistant to the Enterprise-D, where similar upgrades were attempted. TNG Where No One Has Gone Before.

Named after the HMS Fearless, a Royal Navy vessel that acted as command ship for the amphibious operation in the 1982 Falklands war. Name from dialogue. NCC from a computer display (Captain's Chair). Class visually identified.

 

 

  U.S.S. Firebrand NCC-68723

Freedom-class

 
  The Firebrand was one of the 39 Federation ships destroyed by the Borg during the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2367. TNG The Best of Both Worlds.

Named after the HMS Firebrand, a Royal Navy vessel that sank in 1707 near the Isles of Scilly. NCC from studio model. Name and class are speculations of the ST Encyclopedia.

 

 

  U.S.S. Fleming    
  The Fleming disappeared in the Hekaras Corridor in 2370. At the time of her disappearance, the Fleming was carrying a rare and valuable biomimetic gel. It was initially feared that the Fleming might have been hijacked for this cargo, but the ship was discovered within the Corridor, disabled by a Hekaran verteron mine. Unfortunately almost immediately following its discovery, a subspace rift formed within the Corridor, and the Fleming was trapped within the rift. The crew of the Enterprise-D was able to beam the Fleming personnel onto the Enterprise-D, but the ship itself was lost. TNG Force of Nature.

Named after British bacteriologist Sir Alexander Fleming (1881-1955), who discovered penicillin. Name from dialogue. The ST Encyclopedia speculates that the Fleming is a Wambundu-class vessel with the registry number NCC-20316.

 

 

  U.S.S. Fredrickson NCC-42111

Excelsior-class

 
  The Fredrickson was one of several ships damaged in battle against forces of the Dominion in early 2374. DS9 A Time to Stand. DS9 Sacrifice of Angels. VOY Relativity.

Named after Anthony Fredrickson, a scenic artist on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Name was confirmed by Penny Juday, wife of Anthony Fredrickson. NCC from a screenshot. Class visually identified.
