A scheduled rendezvous of the Kearsarge with the Enterprise-D in 2370 was postponed for four days, allowing Worf and his son Alexander to attend the Kot'baval Festival. TNG Firstborn.

Named after the American aircraft carrier that served as the recovery vessel for Alan Shepard's Freedom Seven Mercury spacecraft. Name from dialogue. The ST Encyclopedia speculates that the Kearsarge is a Challenger-class vessel with the registry number NCC-57566.

 

  U.S.S. Kongo NCC-1710    
  The Kongo was on Neutral Zone patrol in 2293. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

According to Bjo Trimble's Concordance, the Kongo appeared on a computer display. Judging by the registry number, the ship could be an Enterprise-class vessel.

 

 

  U.S.S. Korolev NCC-2014    
  The Korolev was on a diplomatic mission in 2293. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Named after spacecraft designer Sergey Pavlovich Korolev (1907-1966), a key figure in the early Russian space program. According to Bjo Trimble's Concordance, the Korolev appeared on a computer display. Judging by the registry number, the ship could be an Excelsior-class vessel.

  U.S.S. Kyushu NCC-65491    
  The Kyushu was one of the 39 Federation ships destroyed by the Borg during the Battle of Wolf 359. TNG The Best of Both Worlds, Part 2.

Named after one of the four main islands of Japan, where a Japanese orbital launch facility was located. The Kyushu was designed by Ed Miarecki. It was never built as a full photographic miniature, but the study model was used in the graveyard scene of the aftermath of the battle of Wolf 359. Name from dialogue. NCC from studio model (EAS, Star Trek Mechanics). The ST Encyclopedia speculates that the Kyushu is a New Orleans-class vessel.
