  U.S.S. Jenolan NCC-2010

Sydney-class

The Jenolan disappeared in 2294 and was presumed lost. It was not discovered until 2369 that the Jenolan had crashed into a Dyson Sphere, and that one passenger, Captain Montgomery Scott, had survived for 75 years by suspending himself in a modified transporter beam. Shortly after Scott's rescue, Geordi La Forge and Scott repaired the Jenolan's systems sufficiently to help the Enterprise-D escape from the sphere's interior, although the Jenolan was destroyed in the process. TNG Relics.

Named after a series of caves constituting one of Australia's best known tourist attractions, in east central New South Wales, 113 km west of Sydney. The studio model was labelled U.S.S. Jenolin by mistake. Name from dialogue. NCC from studio model (The Continuing Mission). Class from a screenshot.

  U.S.S. John Muir NCC-1732
In 2293, the John Muir was at Starbase 24 for an upgrade. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Named after John Muir (1838-1914), a naturalist who was largely responsible for the establishment of Sequoia and Yosemite national parks in California. According to Bjo Trimble's Concordance, the John Muir appeared on a computer display. Judging by the registry number, the ship could be an Enterprise-class vessel
