In 2373 the Tecumseh,
under the command of Captain Raymond, and the Rutledge were
ordered to launch a counterattack against Klingon forces in the Archanis
sector. The science officer of the Tecumseh was the husband of Dr. Kalandra. The Tecumseh also fought in the Cardassian
wars. DS9 Nor the Battle to the Strong. After a battle against
the Dominion in 2374, the Tecumseh reported 1 crewmember KIA, 2 crewmembers
MIA, and 1 crewmember WIA. DS9 In the Pale Moonlight. Named after Shawnee
Indian chief Tecumseh (1768-1813), who directed Indian resistance to
white rule in the Ohio River valley.

The Thomas Paine,
under the command of Captain Rixx, was one of the ships that met
the Enterprise-D at planet Dytallix B when an alien intelligence attempted
to take over Starfleet Command in 2364. TNG Conspiracy.
In 2368, the Thomas
Paine
served as part of the tachyon detection grid to blockade Romulan ships supplying the Duras family forces in the Klingon civil war. TNG Redemption,
Part 2. Named after the American
patriot and writer Thomas Paine.

U.S.S. Thunderchild NCC-63549 |

|
The Thunderchild was among the ships defending Sector
001 against the Borg incursion of 2373. Star Trek: First Contact.
In 2374, the Thunderchild along with the U.S.S. Prometheus and two
Defiant-class vessels attacked three Romulan warbirds. VOY Message in a Bottle.
The Thunderchild fought in the combined fleet of allied Alpha Quadrant
forces that invaded Cardassian space at the Chin'toka System in late 2374
and was destroyed by orbital weapon platforms employed by the Dominion.
DS9 Tears of the Prophets. Named after the
H.M.S. Thunderchild, a fictional British warship from H.G. Well's classic
novel "The War of the Worlds". The Thunderchild was designed by Alex Jaeger. The appearances of the Thunderchild in MiaB and TotP were confirmed by Adam
"Mojo" Lebowitz.

In 2368,
the Tian An Men
served as part of the tachyon detection grid to blockade Romulan ships supplying the Duras family forces in the Klingon civil war. TNG Redemption,
Part 2. The Tian An Men was lost near the Cardassian border
in late 2373, around stardate 50929, and was presumed destroyed by Dominion
forces but the ship returned sometime prior to 2374. DS9 In the Cards.
The Tian An Men fought in the combined fleet of allied Alpha Quadrant
forces that invaded Cardassian space at the Chin'toka System in late 2374.
It was one of the two Mirandas escorting the Defiant during the run on the
moon. DS9 Tears of the Prophets. Named in honour of the many who died in
the cause of Chinese freedom.
The presence of the Tian An Men in DS9
Tears Of The Prophets was confirmed by John Gross and Karen Sickles of
Digital Muse, the company that did the CGI work for this episode.

Enterprise-E to take over command of the U.S.S. Titan. His wife, Cmdr.
Deanna Troi, was also assigned to the Titan.

The T'Kumbra served on the front lines of the
Dominion war. In early 2375, the vessel put in to station DS9 for repairs
including an overhaul of the ship's warp core and upgrades to inertial
damper systems. While at the station, several members of the ship's crew
indulged Captain Solok's desire to challenge his former classmate, Benjamin Sisko,
to the ancient Earth sport of baseball. The T'Kumbra team, composed
entirely of Vulcan nationals, called themselves the Logicians. DS9 Take Me Out
to the Holosuite. Probably named after some
important Vulcan.

The
Tolstoy was one of the 39 Federation ships destroyed by the
Borg during the Battle of Wolf 359. TNG The Best of Both Worlds,
Part 2. Named after the
Russian
author Leo Tolstoy, who wrote "War and Peace".

ST Encyclopedia speculates that the Tolstoy is a Rigel-class vessel with the
registry number NCC-62095. |

The Tombaugh,
under the command of Captain Blackwood, was assimilated by the Borg in 2362.
VOY Infinite Regress. Named after American astronomer Clyde William
Tombaugh (1906-1997), who discovered the planet Pluto
in 1930.

The Trieste was stationed near Starbase 74 and
was unable to render assistance when the Enterprise-D was hijacked by the Bynars in 2364. The Trieste was some 66 hours away at the time. TNG 11001001.
Data
served aboard the Trieste prior to his assignment to the Enterprise-D.
During Data's tour of duty on the Trieste, the ship once fell through a
wormhole. TNG Clues. In 2368, the Trieste
served as part of the tachyon detection grid to blockade Romulan ships supplying the Duras family forces in the Klingon civil war. TNG Redemption,
Part 2. Named after the bathyscaphe
in which oceanographer Jacques Piccard explored Earth's Marianas Trench in
the 1960s.
A pre-production idea

The Tripoli was the ship that discovered the
android Data at the remains of the Federation colony at Omicron Theta in
2338. The crew of the Tripoli activated Data. TNG Datalore. The
ship was decommissioned and was relegated to a surplus depot in orbit
around planet Qualor II. In 2368,
the Tripoli was stolen by Romulan operatives. TNG Unification,
Part 1. The
ship was returned and recommissioned sometime prior to 2374. After a battle
against the Dominion in 2374, the Tripoli reported 3 crewmembers KIA and 7
crewmembers MIA. DS9 In the Pale Moonlight.

A classmate of Lt. Illario's was stationed aboard this ship
in 2375. The Truman hadn't been near DS9
in months.
DS9 Field of Fire. Named after Harry S. Truman (1884-1972), 33rd president of the United
States who led his nation through the final stages of World War II and
through the early years of the Cold War.

Launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on stardate
40291.7. This science vessel had been on a routine
science mission monitoring the collapse of a red super giant star into a
white dwarf in 2364 when the entire crew of 80 became infected with a
variant of the Psi 2000 virus. All ship's personnel died from the effects
of the virus. TNG The Naked Now. Named after the
Russian space pioneer Konstantin E. Tsiolkovsky. Picard and Data identified the ship as "S.S.
Tsiolkovsky". On the other hand, the ship had a Starfleet NCC-registry, the
crew wore Starfleet uniforms, and the Starfleet emblem was on its dedication
plaque. The ship miniature was a re-dress of the Grissom from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
